Seems mandatory to drop fish in grass before photo? No?

Went out tonight for a couple of hours. Caught two beautiful fish and a bunch more smaller guys.

I don't measure fish anymore but if I was to guess would say 22-23 on this one. Fatty #3

21 or so on this guy? Splashed my camera and I only had fleece to dry off and that did not work so well.

Anyway very blessed to have caught these two bigs and two other this spring. All the same stretch too! And I see nobody fish here. Oh well, all to myself I guess?

This is just a usual spot that fishes well all year. Until things warm up I prefer 7:00 - 8:30 pm. Seems to be working well. Once we get to 70s and the grass gets growing then switch to am fish. The cool part about this stretch is I stay in the water the entire time. I think that is important to not spooking fish and catching them in close proximity.

Spectacular looking Browns Mark! Glad to see someone is getting some big ones. I seem to be stuck catching dinks lately.

One more nice one today. Fatty #5 for the season! An up and comer. More normal sized proportions. I did not measure but looks 21" maybe?

Fatty #6. I guess I am 6 fatty out of 7 trips.

Smoked my #9 PMD on the right edge of the grassy cut bank, softer slower water. Things still running high and a little fast but super clear.
