Also worth noting in the photos above are the flattened stream bank weeds. This was just a week after the big flood last August that hit SW Wisconsin really hard. This was the only stream in the area I could find that day that was remotely fishable. One positive of a flood is that afterwards it was much easier to walk the banks with the weeds knocked down.
