Hello!

I have been fishing Iowa county for a little while now and have caught endless amounts of browns and rainbows. I wanted to change it up a little bit and try to catch some brookies but I dont want to drive to far north or west. I have tried ash creek but was frustrated by the narrow stream and high banks. does anyone know if any decent brook trout streams in iowa county?

thanks

Welcome.

You'll probably find that most wont give out streams, especially in a message board post that can be indexed by Google.

As someone who has and does fish Iowa County a ton... yes, there are brook trout to be found there.

Probably at least a third of the trout streams have them to some degree or another. Look high up in systems where the water is colder.
