I know I posted about this once before telling everyone to not take fishing buddy's or life in general for granted. My dear friend Kendall Palmer passed away on December 14th, 2019 at age 53. I have fished my whole life, but he is the one who first took me trout fishing and told me to buy a pair of waders. He got me hooked on stream fishing, and is the reason I'm posting here today. I'd like to share a few pics of him from the 2019 trout season. He became a hardcore steelheader after his college time at UMD. We always talked about going on a trip to some remote canadian brookie fishing on the edge of the taiga forest and the tundra, where he'd caught a lot of nice "speckled trout" up to 21". He was a great guy to bounce ideas off, and I miss spending time with him knee deep in a driftless trout stream. IMG_65941.jpg (51kb) downloaded 21 time(s). 53 is too young to go.

Spoken by a 60-year old.
